A Guide to
Windows
Registry Backup and
Restoration
Ok, at this point
you have figured out it is in fact your windows registry
that is causing you a major headache. The first thing you
can do.....short of throwing the PC out the window, is try
to restore your windows registry to its past working
condition. Follow the steps outlined below for a great
walkthrough.
*******************************************************************************************
1. First, we need to Identify &
Isolate the problem.
There is no sense
trying to fix the registry if your problems are due to
something else. So, before you begin, run a quick
scan with your anti-virus software and anti spyware programs
(if you have any).
After running the
scan this scan, your PC should be back to normal. In not,
then your probelm is with the
registry.
2. Perform a Backup of
your Registry
|
WARNING
– IF NOT DONE PROPERLY, YOU MAY LOSE DATA
STORED ON YOUR PC!!!!!!!!!
As a safe
alternative, consider using a top-rated
registry cleaner download such
as REGCURE.
RegCure will automatically
backup your registry, scan the registry
for errors, and repair any corruptions
it finds.
