Manually Editing the Windows
Registry Should only be done if you have a good understanding
of computer operating systems.
ANY SMALL MISTAKE IN MANUAL
REGISTRY REPAIR CAN LEAD TO SYSTEM FAILURE AND INABILITY
OF YOUR PC TO WORK!!!
One way to manually repair the
registry is to use your PC's built in registry editor. Steps to
try this are outlined below.
The
Registry Editor (REGEDIT.EXE) is typically included with most
versions of Windows. This editor
enables users to manually fix the registry
by viewing, searching and editing the data within the
Windows Registry.
NOTE: Unless you know what the
errors on your Windows registry are, you will first need to run
a FREE REGISTRY SCAN to
find out wich errors to manually delete, edit, or
repair.
In order to find the Registry Editor, click on the
Start button, then select Run, and in the
Open box type "regedit." If you have an editor
installed on your PC, it will open up. An image of a registry
editor is provided below for reference:

Using Regedit
to modify your Registry
Once Regedit is open, on the lefthand side, you will notice a
breakdown of its contents into folders. You may click on teh
(+) sybol to expand each folder and reveal its
contents.
After running a FREE REGISTRY SCAN,
you may have an idea of which "registry keys" need to be
deleted or restored. If you need to delete a key, simply click
on it, then hit "delete" on your keyboard.
ALWAYS BACK UP YOUR REGISTRY BEFORE
CHANGING THE REGISTRY OR YOU MAY LOSE VALUBLE FILES AND
